As your wearing your shirt tomorrow, feel free to take a photo and send it in to me here – patrick@wearyourshirt.co.uk. I will endeavour to get as many as possible up on the site during the day.
I think they’ll look great.

For those of you not on Twitter I apologise. You can stop reading now if you like … step away from the blog … nothing to see here. You could give your shirt another iron if you like – to make sure it’s pristine for tomorrow!
For those of you who are on Twitter, I suggest that we try to get the hashtag #wearyourshirt trending.
What I propose is that at 11am UK time tomorrow morning, everyone wearing a shirt in support of Wear Your Shirt day tweets the following message.
“I’m supporting #wearyourshirt in my [team name] shirt”
Obviously you’ll need to put your own team name in there – so for me it will read “I’m supporting #wearyourshirt in my Burton Albion shirt”.
If enough of us do it then we should get it trending. Who knows, if there are enough of you wearing the same shirts then you might even see a few clubs trending (I accept that Burton Albion probably won’t be one of them!)
Remember, 11am tomorrow: “I’m supporting #wearyourshirt in my [team name] shirt”.

Olympic Medallist and BBC’s North East Sports Personality 2008 Tony Jeffries has today given his full support to Wear Your Shirt Day 2010 by agreeing to wear his Sunderland A.F.C. shorts in his next fight this Friday.
‘Jaffa’ is looking to continue his unbeaten professional career in his showdown with tough Welsh challenger Nathan King on St Georges Day and all the team here wish him the best of luck in his fight.
Tony is the most recent celebrity endorser of Wear Your Shirt Day 2010 and his support has helped the campaign to gain further momentum and is greatly appreciated by all at Wear Your Shirt.

Yesterday Jason Manford (on Twitter as
@Jason_Manford), donated £50 to the Wear Your Shirt day campaign.
You can read the full story here, but the summary is that he’d won £500 betting on Man City and decided to share it out on 10 different charities. Wear Your Shirt was one of the chosen ones.
So to Jason, a big thank you. Every £1 really helps, so we’re really grateful. Of course this means that you can wear 50 shirts on Friday – you might be a bit warm, but hey it’s all for charity!
To the rest of you, it doesn’t have to be £50, but every £1 helps, so please Wear Your Shirt and donate £1.

You can hear more about Wear Your Shirt day tonight as Steve Thorpe of the Free Kicks Foundation will be on the Monday Sport show on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire to talk about the day and other issues. The Free Kicks Foundation is of course the charity that all the money from Wear Your Shirt day is going to and they do great work by treating disadvantaged kids to a day they will never forget at the football.
It’s on soon – 6pm and you can listen here – even if you’re not in Cambridgeshire.
And if you still haven’t signed up to Wear Your Shirt day on April 23rd then drop us a line at register@wearyourshirt.co.uk to do so.
UPDATE
You can listen to it all using iPlayer – go online here and listen for the next six days.

We’ve had so many teams and fans sign up to support Wear Your Shirt day that some will be playing each other this weekend, so they can’t all win.
But good luck to them all anyway.
And if you’re a fan that’s taking part in Wear Your Shirt, try not to spill any of your half-time pie and Bovril down your shirt!

The staff and players of Lincoln City have been fantastically generous and have signed some merchandise to offer to people taking part in Wear Your Shirt day.
If you haven’t already registered for the day then you can do so by emailing register@wearyourshirt.co.uk.
In the meantime, check out the film of the players endorsing us and signing the shirt.
And a big thanks to the team at Lava PR for organising this (and creating the great film).
