Wear Your Shirt Day is being organised by the Free Kicks Foundation to collect money to help disadvantaged kids – by giving them a day out at the football.
The Free Kicks Foundation was born during the summer of 2006 with the aim of providing football-related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children to give them a day to remember with their favourite football club.
The days out, called ‘kicks’, could involve being a team mascot, meeting a favourite player, tour of their chosen stadium, receiving a special gift or anything football related we can organise to make it a day they will never forget.
Originally formed by fans of Peterborough United, and an official charity of the club for the 2009/2010 season, Free Kicks has completed ‘kicks’ at clubs up and down the country.
This site has been created to publicise our efforts and to help people to get involved. We will be updating it with more information whenever we can.
